Simple folding camping chair

GO Outdoors range of tents for weekend camping come in a range of sizes for solo camping, to couples to small families.

Sometimes when the weather looks good you want to jump in the car and head to your favourite camping spot for a hassle free quick weekend camping trip or heading off for an adventure filled weekend end in the great outdoors

Here at Go Outdoors we have loads of tents that are great for the quick weekend away. Usually smaller than the family tents weekend tents are quick to pitch with slightly smaller living areas making them lighter weight and more compact.

Weekend tents can be anything from a very small lightweight tunnel tent to bigger family tents. But you may be arriving after dark so make sure you pick a tent that can be easily pitched.

Generally our weekend tents are the tunnel design which are very simple to pitch yet strong enough should you get a bit of bad weather. However if you fancy somewhere a bit wilder maybe consider a dome tent where the crossed pole sections add strength and stability.

Weekend camping is all about relaxing so giving yourself a bit of extra room is a good idea. If there's just two of you consider getting a 3 or 4 berth tent that's going to give you extra space for your camping such as the Hi gear Atakama 5 which pitches in no time but has the space to sit inside with your tables and chairs.

If you prefer the more rugged campsites then a smaller tent is probably better where flat ground may be in short supply finding a suitable pitch will be much easier.

The weekend range of tents all come with loads of great features such as sewn in ground sheets, clear PVC windows, mesh venting panels and storage pockets. The bigger weekend tents will also have the option of adding footprints, carpets or even canopies and porches.

Technical men's mountain shoe with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® lining.

This Mammut Redburn GTX® mountain shoe uses a waterproof and brethable GORE-TEX® membrane lining for exceptional weather protection, making it great for biking and walking all year round.

The patented Base Fit lacing ensures a fit that is close for maximum confidence on uneven ground, but also minimises pressure points to improve comfort. A grippex™ Cougapproach sole unit provides secure grip and the large toe rand offers some toe protection as well as protecting the velour leather upper from damage.

An integrated tongue prevents stones or grit working their way into the shoe and also makes for a smoother inside profile, reducing the chances of blisters.
