Hi! I'm Christina, and welcome to my yoga YouTube channel, ChriskaYoga! In today's video, we'll be doing a 10 minute yoga sequence for abs. So, if you're short on time and looking to just work on your abs today, then this yoga routine will be great for you!
We'll be begin laying on our backs, and we'll take several abdominal curls with one leg raised on both sides. Then we'll do an exercise for the lower belly (abdominals) by lifting both legs up and pulsing our hips up and down. We will then work on our obliques by doing some bicycle abdominal curls with twisting several times switching from right to left. The we'll briefly hug legs in towards the chest (apanasana) before coming up.
Next, we'll be flowing from downward facing dog pose (adho mukha svanasana) to forearm plank. Then we will be taking abdominal crunches in three legged dog pose on both sides with a child's pose in between (balasana).
To finish out the short yoga class, we'll take two rounds of a modified boat pose (navasana) with toe taps and a forward fold in easy pose (sukhasana) in between. You can take a savasana at the end if you would like to.
